Achievement Unlocked: First Pitch Competition!

Yesterday, I pitched foodsavr at the Startup Canada Pitch Competition in Calgary. While I didn’t make the top 5, I walked away with something even better: a brain full of lessons and a heart full of inspiration.

I met founders on their 5th or 6th startup (some of them basically sprinting through MVPs like it’s cardio). For my first startup and first pitch comp, I’m proud of how far I’ve come and even more excited for what’s next!

A special shoutout to the founders of Maple Scan, Sasha Ivanov and Ben Pearman, who built an app in one week to help people find if a product truly supports Canadian businesses. Absolute legends.

I enjoyed listening to the founder stories, struggles, and breakthroughs. Next time, I’m coming back stronger, weirder, and more caffeinated.
